Liz says: Christos Gage and Rebekah Isaacs wove magic into last year’s ‘Angel &Faith’ and to my great pleasure they are now working their fantastic powers on the tenth season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. BTVS is and probably always will be my favourite show and it’s been some consolation to have an ongoing foothold in that universe via the comics. Gage and Isaacs have been the strongest creative team on the comics to date, so their transition from ‘Angel and Faith’ to the main book is very exciting and promises big things on the horizon for the Scooby gang and for devoted fans like me. This wonderful first issue delivers just what I expected from the new team: New twists, new status quos, new rules. Oh, and the appearance of a character that we’ve all been dying to see for the past decade or so (just saying!). If ever there were a time to hop aboard the Buffy comics train, that time has come- pick it up now!
