Liz says: I’ve been binging on a bunch of late-nineties/early-noughties Bat-books and it’s made me nostalgic for the pre-52 days when the Bat-family constantly interacted and worked together as a unit, something that the New 52 incarnations have lacked– until Batman & Robin Eternal. I’m a sucker for any story where the Robins team up; throw in Cassandra Cain and some backstory between Batman and Dick Grayson during their time together as Batman and Robin (another bit of unexplored terrain in the New-52 universe) and you’ve got me hook, line and sinker. I haven’t read a weekly series since ‘52’ was coming out in 2006, and this is the first time since then I can say I’m really looking forward to that kind of commitment. Can’t wait for Wednesday!
