Pick up shiny new editions of Walt Simonson’s celebrated run for a fantastic read (and the introduction of Malekith the Accursed and the Dark Elves!) If you’re after a modern tale (which influenced the first Thor film), try the wonderful Straczynski series, which takes Asgard to small-town Oklahoma. Then follow it up with the Ultimate Collection by Kieron Gillen! These (and many more) are stories that I love and highly recommend, and if going to see Thor: The Dark World makes you want to explore the Nine Realms a while longer, pick up one of these great books- FOR ASGARD!
