Liz says: It’s a nice bit of kismet that the same week I finally began reading Joe Hill’s third novel ‘N0S-4R2’, issue #1 of the ‘Wraith’ miniseries came out as the cherry on top. If you’re like me and you haven’t finished the book (or started it, or ever plan to, for that matter) this issue serves as an introduction to child-snatching villain Charles ‘Talent’ Manx and as an entry point into Christmasland, the cross-dimensional world where every day is Christmas and children are turned into monsters. In conjunction with Hill, ‘Stuff of Legend’ artist CP Wilson III perfectly captures the essence of the novel’s ghastly otherworld in delightfully horrid detail.
